An illustrative studio note. This is an exploratory direction, not a published research result.
The question
An explanation usually arrives as a finished sequence. An interactive explanation can instead become a space to explore. A reader can change a variable, make a prediction, and immediately compare that prediction with the result.
The exploration
The question behind this studio note is simple: how can an interface help someone build intuition without hiding the underlying model? The lab pairs a visible simulation with its equation and assumptions. Controls are named for the concept they change, rather than the implementation behind them.
What comes next
A useful next experiment would compare the same concept presented as text, an animation, and an interactive model. Understanding should be assessed with a transfer question: can a learner explain an unfamiliar example, rather than repeat the one they just saw? This is a proposed direction, not a completed study.
